The Album Summary!

War Of The Blade: The Age Of The Undamned

Here is the summary of this album! So that you can connect the songs together with the storyline! It begins with a husband and a wife who have a child named Gildroy. They are very happy after the child is born. When they go home they learn that a civil war has broken out between the kingdom. Years go by, and the war never seems to let up. As everything is happening around them, they still enjoy watching their son grow up. When he is about 13 the rest of this chapter in the story takes place. His father decides that it is his time to serve in the war. He leaves his wife and child behind, promising to come back. He learns everything that makes this war such a nightmare. While he is there he experiences something that scars him forever. Gildroy on the other hand, joins a club of other boys just like him. All their fathers have gone to war, so they decide to stick together. They grow really close and decide to go into the forest, and spend the night. As they are walking they are ripping branches off and destroying parts of the forest. What they don't know is that a monster lives there, who watches over the forest and protects it. The monster begins to get angry that they are destroying his forest, so he plans to attack them. He waits until they don't expect it, and makes his move. He grabs one of them and crushes him in his hand. Killing him, the other boys run away. The monster leaves the body and flee's. Gildroy goes back and finds the body. It was his best friend in the group, and he is destroyed by this loss. They have a short funeral for him afterwards. Meanwhile, his father returns from war, unaware of what has just happened to Gildroy. All his bottled up feeling are taken out on Gildroy. He hits and abuses Gildroy for the first time. He feels so bad about it, but the feelings don't go away. Another plot begins to stur, when the son of the current king of Sinnel begins to plot against his father. He plans to kill him, and take control of the throne. Which if he completes his mission the war will end. He went in without fear, but before he killed him he froze. He couldn't do it, then he was caught and captured by the guards. He father wakes and banishes him from the kingdom. He leaves, but arranges a meeting with Gildroys father. He askes him to talk to his father. He wishes only to come back home. So he tells the king, but the king refuses to see him. The kings son is angry, and now plots to kill him again. He quietly makes a second attempt, but this time Gildroys father stops him. Holding his hands, preventing him from murdering the king. He hold him long enough for the guards to capture him. But this time the punishment is worse. He is to be hung at the gallows for his crime. In his last moments he swears revenge to Gildroys family. He swears that they will suffer for what they have done. He dies there on the gallows. Gildroys family tries to forget the whole thing, and move on. The king then offers Gildroys father the throne, in exchange for his service, and his life. But he can either take the throne, and leave everything behind. Or stay and live on with his family. So he chooses to live at home again. Now the stage is set for the next chapter.

Just some extra info, I am going to post the 2 bonus songs for this album. Which give some more detail into some important topics. The first, what happened to Gildroys father during the war that made him the way he is. The second tells a secret never before reviled in the story before. They are both very good songs, and tell a lot about the story! Then I will begin posting the next album in the series. Its called, War Of The Blade 1: The Lost And The Damned. It will continue the story, with some more powerful twists and turns. This album I wrote a long time ago, it seems. But ignore the repetitive lines, and little odd things about it. Because overall, it is a really good album. I hope you will enjoy it!
